The March 11 magnitude-9.0 earthquake and ensuing tsunami, which wiped out large swaths of Japan's northeastern coastline, are believed to have caused an estimated $300 billion in damage, making it the most expensive disaster ever.

More than 26,000 people are dead or missing.
Sherlock The Finder (Sherlock/Hobbit crossover)

I love this to absolute bits - it's lovely, and your writing is very polished! Sherlock appears to have been introduced seamlessly into Middle Earth, which I love, because I imagined Martin Freeman as Bilbo all the way through The Hobbit, and this completes the picture. Well done!
If you like to cross your streams with Sherlock in any incarnation

I finally was able to pick up the new Duran Duran album (god, I've said that for over twenty years now - and may I say, one of their BEST ALBUMS EVER OMG)

Kids kept wanting certain songs over and over, including this one.

We were driving along and I heard these lyrics:

Lay me on your bed
I want to stroke your sleepy head
I wish that I was you instead
of being just your weekday friend

Too bad you're so beautiful and so Complicated
I may be a deluded fool but still Fascinated
Too bad you're so beautiful when I'm
King of nothing
This can only go one way

And I started laughing cos I said, oh THIS IS SO JOHN AND SHERLOCK.

And my spouse in the back seat cried I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!

So laughed harder, almost died, but not.
