Answer to why do you like Sherlock Holmes why are we still in love with the character?

I think we need him because he uses his intellect to solve problems when so many people resort to brute force, that he made himself, he honed his skills in observation, that he created his own profession, and he uses his abilities for good. That's why he has always appealed to me more than a hero in spandex, Sherlock Holmes is someone who could be real.
