Sherlock and Irene

(I thought she would be taller)

I think I'm gonna be happy with how they characterize Irene in season two of Sherlock, but of course, idiot rags like the SUN have to have their say. It’s a crappy article, (SPOILERS ABOUND) and misses the very points that Moff makes inside the article, the show is about Sherlock and love, not Sherlock in love. He’s fascinated by Irene, but much of that has to do with her intellect. The premise the show creators made in series one was that everyone assumed Sherlock and John were lovers, for comedic effect. *shakes head’ ‘Sherlock is Gay or Sherlock is Straight might make for titillating headlines, but the point is, Sherlock is Someone Just Not Interested in the physical, be courageous and brilliant, you might just have a chance. (or in the case of Irene or John, shorter, it makes him feel more important)
