I have a bad head cold. *sigh* Kids are home early today (early release) so I might go have a lie-down while I can get it. Have to get grocery shopping in and get to post office today.

SGK 'continues current' funding Planned Parenthood

"The Komen Foundation's decides to 'continue current funding' of Planned Parenthood spurred a strong backlash against the charity. Online, groups opposed to the decision drew tens of thousands of supporters, and in Washington, more than two dozen senators called on the Komen Foundation to reverse its decision. Planned Parenthood also saw a surge in donations in response to the news."

THANK YOU to everyone online who voiced their shock and anger at the decision, however, don’t forget that this only continues current funding, not a promise to fund in future and SGK uses only about 23% of their donations toward the cause, a lot of their money goes to high salaries for execs, and some of their decisions about fundraising (pink buckets of fried chicken) make the 'charity' more like a business, making money off of the suffering of women. Check out any charity before you donate!
