This morning gonna make some more polyclay jewelry, will make a Red Dragon pendant (that was Benedict with dragon tat) and possibly the Memento Mori image in an oval shape.

In other news, thinking up a cracky yet plotty Supernatural/Sherlock, though I'm working my way through Supernatural series 5 now.

I'm also reading lots of nonfiction for original stuff. Can I get anything written this year? Cross fingers. I know I haven't provided a lot of fanwork, but sadly, I've had to concentrate on making money so far this year.

How are you doin?
I loves me a quiche, particularly in the spring with aspargus. I was checking out a recipe and the blogger was recommending a particular brand of gluten free flour that was $22 a bag! me, on a limited budget can’t afford that, though I have a spouse and child with celiac disease and we have to make gluten free meals.

But don’t despair, I’ve found if you use a ceramic or glass pie dish when you make a quiche, just prep with some non-stick cooking spray, bake the filling until set and you don’t need a crust at all.
Republicans have morality upside down. Santorum, Gingrich, and even Romney are barnstorming across the land condemning gay marriage, abortion, out-of-wedlock births, access to contraception, and the wall separating church and state.

But America’s problem isn’t a breakdown in private morality. It’s a breakdown in public morality. What Americans do in their bedrooms is their own business. What corporate executives and Wall Street financiers do in boardrooms and executive suites affects all of us.

There is moral rot in America but it’s not found in the private behavior of ordinary people. It’s located in the public behavior of people who control our economy and are turning our democracy into a financial slush pump. It’s found in Wall Street fraud, exorbitant pay of top executives, financial conflicts of interest, insider trading, and the outright bribery of public officials through unlimited campaign “donations.”
