ARGH I hate head/chest colds, it takes me forever to get over them. I'm also having a bit of trouble with my teeth, but no insurance yet to take care of it. (sigh) I gotta apply for state medicare program, at least after four months I should be eligible now.
I did a drawing earlier in the week, but now not happy with it, don't know that I will finish it now, it was inspired by a Supernatural medieval AU, but I got plenty of my own things to tackle. I got some art into jewelry projects to do, not to mention a picture for an art show. (oh I have to check on the entry date again)
Benedict's doing a new film in June, so I guess that means he's not doing the indie pic with Liv Tyler, but I wasn't so jazzed at the prospect of that, this sounds more interesting, 12 days a slave, one of the names attached is Brad Pitt. I would like to see Benedict do that comedy film about three brothers in Ireland, though.
Now that a Supernatural 'fan' wasn't allowed to push an online hate campaign on Misha (Castiel) Collins, the same person is trying to do the same with Jared (Sam) Padalecki, I don't see where people can call themselves 'fans' of anything when they hate on the people who do the show, and even wish harm on their children. WTF?
Jared says 'kiss this' if you are hating on his newborn son.
I know it's just a handful of people being wankers, but if it's enough to get the attention of the fandom, then I think it's worth tweeting and tumblring in support of the guys/gals you love, just so they know this is an extreme minority who are hating on them. And to hate on a show just cos it's not following your fandom ship? I don't get that, cos fandom is its own peculiar thing, it's really nothing about the show when it comes down to it.
It's not like the actors decide what the story will be anyway - that's up to the writers and producers, so maybe send them a letter if you are concerned, who knows, if your issue is articulated well, they might listen to you, or they might not - they certainly won't listen if you are being repulsive and rude to the cast - if you don't like the show you can always stop watching it. (and that's me two cents)
