Here's my entry anyway: why this song? Other than the obvious, that I use Japanese aesthetics and materials in my work, it's from the eighties, which also influence my artwork (hello Nagel) and it's a British band where also a lot of my passions come from, the song is about obsessions, and it's deceptively simple melodically, but the lyrics include subtext. *snorfle*

Great interview regarding Season Eight with Jensen Ackles

Just so you know, spoilerific, yet, everything they've spoken about for this season I'm jazzed about. Unlike an element of fandom, I don't think Destiel is becoming canon, but I do think Dean and Cas reform the bond they lost. Jeremy Carver is speaking of this season as a 'reboot' of sorts, and a theme that would go for more seasons, which is a good thing, in my eyes.
