Good for what ails you.

Recently, Mish did an interview with 'Gay Calgary' wherein he 'educated' the interviewer (who had never seen Supernatural) on what 'destiel' or Dean/Cas slash was about. Now the video was not accessible to viewers outside Canada, so a Misha hating 'fan' paraphrazed it and stated that it spoke of queerbaiting (how the show intentionally teases the slash fanbase) but throughout the interview Misha was polite, funny, charming, ironic, snarky - pretty much his usual self, but Misha loves his fans and slash fandom in particular, after all he knows that this fandom has supported him and allowed him to make a living in his chosen profession, with people he loves.

COME ON PEOPLE - SEE THE INTERVIEW YOURSELF BEFORE YOU DECIDE HOW TO FEEL ABOUT IT -don't let someone else define it for you.

anywhoo, when asked at what he'd say to the fans of GayCalgary:

And a Jensen and Misha moment - for some inexplicable reason, the fan can't think of a question to ask Jensen.

“You Don’t Have to Be Pretty. You don’t owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your co-workers, especially not to random men on the street. You don’t owe it to your mother, you don’t owe it to your children, you don’t owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked ‘female’.”

Decided to watch Avengers, and about 1/3 through decided colouring my hair was more entertaining. It took too long for everyone to get together, then they just bitched at each other, there seemed to be no urgency and no real danger, Stark in this was an asshole, Thor uncharistmatic, ditto Nick Fury. I liked Cap, and would watch a film with Black Widow and Hawkeye. And I wanted Loki to win. He wasn't around chewing enough scenery either.
