COMPASSION
this image was created to help raise funds for the Japanese Red Cross in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami of 3/11/11 - the figure is Senju Kannon, the Buddhist deity of Compassion, who hears the cries of the world and stretches out his arms to assist. Each hand of the image bears the symbol of each of the 47 prefectures of Japan. The figure also bears native Shinto symbols of the solar disc and the jewel around his neck is one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan. The phoenix represents resilience and rebirth.

Thank you!

So take that look out of here, it doesn't fit you.
Because it's happened doesn't mean you've been discarded.
Pull up your head off the floor, come up screaming.
Cry out for everything you ever might have wanted.
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered
But you can't stay here with every single hope you had shattered.

I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert,
But I can live and breathe and see the sun in wintertime..
In a big country dreams stay with you
like a lover's voice cross the mountainside

Stay Alive
