seems so empty after the Mishapocalypse (which incidentally, was never planned, a few fans decided to replace their icons with a certain pic of Misha, and that was it, but people started making macros, and gifs, etc, and then it spread over into other fandoms, like Sherlock and Who, so even if you were using tumblr savouir, they would show up, then it went over to Twitter, Facebook, and other spots.
What I loved about it was that it was completely spontanteous, people made things up on the spot, and people who have no idea who Misha is were making stuff.
Now other fandoms are planning their apolocli, and different fans are making posts, lets use this picture or that. I hope Misha enjoyed it, I know I did. And as April Fools pranks go, it was fun and harmless. (and now forever associated with Misha)
I do think the best prank was Google Maps, which was designed to look like an old hand-drawn map, and my spouse kept looking and looking, and saying 'what's different about it?
