that people make posts on tumblr encouraging actors they ship to 'french kiss' for charity?
And people responding by saying 'let's make them do it!' 'let's have levels 10,000 for this, 25,000 for that!' There is a line between reality and porn. Fetishize the characters all you want, but leave the real people out of it.
The motivation for charity is (usually) compassion and empathy, making it about a need to satisfy your kink trivializes the hard work (in this case Jensen and Misha) do for their charities, helping kids with cancer and orphans for pete's sake.
It's part and parcel of the entitlement of some fans - who would be the first to lash out if you bashing their otp, but denigrating a real people and asking them to whore themselves out, np.
Do they not get how completely creepy this is?
