I'm at work today at the gallery 9 to 5, and tomorrow noon to 5. though I expected it to be slow, because its freezing and driving is literally like driving on an ice rink, I did have a couple window shopping as I opened up, so I invited them in and showed them some of the cool handmade pottery we have, they bought a mug and want to come back for more. On the way out I heard them talking about friendly service and beautiful gallery, so that was nice. We also have some great new pastel artwork.
Whenever you frame pastels or charcoal, you want to frame with mats, and have a bit of space between art and mat, so that if any of the chalk flakes, it drops down between, and not on the mat. She might have fixed the art with spray, but I know a few pastel artists that don't because that can change color and texture of the piece.
Speaking of artwork, I want to do a pic of a nude (dean) in a hammock, anyone adverse to that? I can't help that jensen is my muse these days, even though I mean to make artwork that is more 'sellable' including an update of a lionfish pic that I made some years ago with Jared, cos I've only done a few pieces with him, but guess what? Those 'Sam' images are the ones that sell!
I'm also going to catch up on Bleach. Last night while half-asleep daughter and I were trying to figure out the plotline of a SPN/Bleach crossover, you know when I wrote fic that was my thing. and I like to write stories so that if you don't know either fandom, or only one, it still works, ne.
Well have a good Sat. I'm hoping that a check arrives in the mail today, that would make my day.
