Just a friendly reminder

You know how parents sometimes complain about the kids they 'got?' (neatly forgetting they brought them into the world) you as a child can legit state that you didn't get the parents you wanted.

Let's drop the expectations on both sides and go from there. Kids are just small people, treat them with respect, (which means explanations and not being arbitrary because it's easy) and you'll get respect, it has to be earned, not just because you were able to reproduce.
