In proposed Wonder Woman film - meh, now I’ll really avoid it - bad enough they dropped the original concept of Braveheart style warrior epic for ‘character development = love interest’ the emphasis on giving Pine action sequences will split the film between them, if not give Diana a sidekick role. And it’s probably an indication that they don’t think the waify relatively unknown Gal has the ability to draw audiences on her own.
