I think he explained that at night he could hear the puppies, so he went into the room with them.

When he was travelling his sister saw some puppies in a shop and sent him a picture, and he said 'get them!'

but soon after the puppies came home, the boy died, (these are all toy hybirds that sometimes have problems) the remaining puppy moped, as did gackt's sister and his niece (who live above gackt and take care of his home)

so he said, get some more puppies, and they got three more.
