Not certain if I'm drawing, writing or crafting today. Right now I just want to wake up.
Yesterday was nice, sunny, went to Mexican rest, then we mentioned on the way out to parking lot that it was very windy, so we went home and got the kites we purchased for the kids at Easter, went to a local park (that always happens to be empty, I think because it's behind the library up a hill and many people don't know it's there.)
Took a few pics, the girl flew her kite, my son's kite was missing two stablising poles, so I ran home to get some wooden dowels and we mocked it up, but it wouldn't fly as well, but boy didn't want to fly his kite, just run around, so it was just as well.
Then we stopped by Dairy Queen, I had a sundae with chocolate and peanut butter syrups, luckily it was smaller, cos I was done in on the finish.
(yay! they are picking up my garbage! - I have to remember to pull it out to the curb (kerb) the night before and last week I didn't. And this week lots of garbage because I did some spring cleaning)
Last night I decided I want to learn some crochet to make Amigurumi, (Japanese tiny mascots and toys) and drew designs for a little Sherlock and John.
But I hope you guys have a great, productive week. I probably won't be doing any conventions this year (selling art) but will enter Origami Master into our state fair art show, it's something.
