02. What book do you read at the moment?
Michael Chabon's The Final Problem, his novel about the elder Sherlock Holmes.
03. What was your last meal?
Toast and Sausage
04. Do you like sport?
Yep, if I could I would play golf. Little known fact, I used to play professional croquet (British Style).
05. What do you hear right now?
Spouse and child home sick watching BBC's Being Human. I think this is season 2.
06. Which activities make you lose track of time?
Writing, Drawing, Reading.
07. Are you hungry?
Kind of, but I have to avoid snacking.
08. What things do you like to smell?
Right now the fresh picked Lily of the Valley in the Japanese teacup my friend in Tokyo sent me. :D
09. Do you like insects?
Yes, though centipedes creep me out. I would actually like to raise bees. Haha, not just Sherlock influenced, but the die-off in bees that's possibly due to losing the feral bee population.
10. What song is currently stuck in your head?
Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand.
11. What was the last thing you bought?
Crochet needles and yarn to begin making arigurumi.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
England, Japan, New Zealand, China, Tibet, India.
13. What is your favourite colour?
Deep Red.
14. Do you read any magazines?
Not any more, but I did get cooking magazines, but it's easy to find plenty of recipes online.
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Might be taking apart son's bunkbed, he's too old for it now, making a firepit in the backyard.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I would play a koto, which is a Japanese string instrument, sort of like a harp that's horizontal.
17. Do you want to learn another language?
Japanese.
18. Is there something you collect?
Japanese Lucky Cats, Bento Boxes, anything Gackt, Antique books with beautiful Art Nouveau/Deco covers, postcards from friends.
19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Other than SHERLOCK season 2? In general I like to hear my kids call me mum or mom, even if it's nagging.
