I might be too much of a pessimist, but reading that, I was already envisioning a world where mentioning Lincoln would earn you a "Oh, you mean the dude who kills vampires?"

True, that. Then again, I would give a firstborn if Hollywood finally admitted that some men were not all that into shooting mosters to wet splotches and riding in on dragons to save the world.

Wow, has it really been 10 years since the first Spiderman? Back when that came out I was at Sony. The studio head was so thrilled that he sent out a poem praising the movie(and the $$ it made) to everybody working at the studio via in-house email, ahaha. It had been so long since the studio had a real hit that I think he was giddy. Too bad I no longer have a copy.

We had a nicer than average office Christmas party that year.
