What a fitting tribute and so very well done, as always. I always thought you captured them well, but now I truly think you've mastered Sherlock and Watson in art after having *finally* seen the series.

Ah - this reminds me more of a pietà, than a memento mori. The detached deerstalker is a great manga touch - and I love the pebble border of grave-worms.

I don't know the TV series (though I have now seen 3 episodes on DVD!) but I am curious to know if the coat lining is signicant (probably the answer is "elementary" - it's just hard to see the pattern at this size)
