The game changing episode.
Nine stars out of ten
Great episode, in the sense it kicks the myth arc of this season into gear, we get Dean and Sam back on the same page, and we actually feel sorry
for both the breakup of Sam and Amelia (intersting that Sam should mention her in the same sentence with Jess, the love of his life and his impetus to get back into hunting) and Dean's very emotional goodbye (albeit by phone) to Benny.
Cas was just heartbreaking in this episode, but a few things I had signposted - if you had a Leviathan tablet, and a Demon tablet, among them you would have an Angel tablet that a) Crowley would want and b) Naomi wants to keep secret, because if you can lock the Demons in Hell with one, you could possibly lock the Angels in Heaven with the other.
Priceless for Cas to be the one to get the boys back together and 'stow their crap' I love it when Cas is bossy.
But I wanted the adorable Samadriel to surrive and be an ally to Cas, but it's just the extreme Cas whumpage that goes in every season that after trying so hard to save one angel, Naomi would force his hand and have him kill Sam/Alfie. But Dean and Sam did notice the difference in their Cas, that he was being controlled.
Interesting that Kevin would shut his mom out, and the single one hilarious note, Dean taunting him that his mother is hot, and yeah, she is!
I'm so glad the boys are back together now, but oh the pain.
We are all agreeing, Naomi must Die. She might be the best angel baddie since Zachriah, if they do the character building right.
Please Misha back to regular and not 'special guest star'
Though the weakest weakest part of the ep - yet another abandoned warehouse that the boys break into too easily, they already did this just a few eps ago, we have to come up with a better scenario, treehouse maybe? SOMETHING. After such an emotional ep, the costume romp next week seems a bit jarring, no?
