Goodbye Stranger (meaning Meg) review
B
Emphasis on the never-believable (but oh it would have been fun it they tried) Megstiel couple distracted and took away power from the scene of Cas confronting Dean, which we have been working toward all season. It came and went, with a bit of Swan-Song seen this before deja-vu. Better to have lopped off a few of the weak monster eps this season and built this up more and made the death of Meg (only character from season one other than Sam and Dean) a better send-off, and bitchy, snarky, screaming all the way, not mooning after a romance that was only designed for comedy relief (really strange squicky comedy)
Incidentlaly, I believe Castiel is keeping the tablet away from Dean, because if Dean uses it, it will damage him on a 'sub-atomic' level the same way the demon tablet is killing Sam.
