Anonymous, who cracked the silence around the recent rape attack of a teenager in Stubenville, have threatened to reveal the names of the rapists.

What is really shameful is the continued harassment, and the fact that she had to move and change schools. Not the perpetrators.

(I could totally understand the perpetrators being forced to move and change schools.)

It's like we're still stuck back in some previous era where a woman's honor hinged on her sexual reputation.

You know, I bet some of the same people who bullied her with slut shaming and sexual propositions probably expressed their condolences on her Facebook page. And don't see any correlation between their "little joke" and her downward spiral.

It's just mind boggling, the way some people's consciences work. Or don't work.

This happened in my home town and I get so distraught every time I read about this. She actually saved the lives of 4 people with her organ donations. The family website is overloaded with donations and outpourings of support. And the province is definitely going after a full investigation.
