I can just see it now, the "Taste Each Other's Tonsils For Cancer" campaign. Sounds catchy.
It would be one thing if this was the actors' idea. "Hey, let's titillate the fans to draw attention to our cause!" Then it would be kinda cool, actually. ;)
But you're saying the fans came up with the idea, and now believe they can browbeat the actors via Tumblr into feeling like they have to snog each other if they truly care about the cause?
You know, I've heard of auctioning off dates with someone for charity, but that's with the celebrity's consent. I've never heard of a celebrity being told, "If you want our money, you have to agree to date us!"
Hm, that last line sounds a lot like prostitution, doesn't it? But I'm sure the "brilliant" fans who came up with this idea don't see it that way.
