guess what kids, we are going to OZ, and it works! (I'm a big OZ-books fan from childhood)
anger pause for - DEAN you DIDN’T say it was Cas idea to leave? WTF, which actually, was the angle I hoped the writers would take. ARGH.

Dorothy is carrying the head of the tin man in her motorcycle saddlebags? Nice steampunky design though.
Sam hands Dorothy a later edition of Wizard of Oz, which is sad, I ADORE the original illustrations by WW. Denslow, which did a good deal to popularize the books back in the day. You can see some of the illustrations realized in the 80s film ‘Return to Oz’ which at the time was panned as being ‘too dark’ in comparison to the Judy Garland film, but was more like the books. More along the lines of Harry Potter.
Really liked the actress for Dorothy, not cookie cutter pretty.
Dorothy is a hunter and has a journal like John’s but smaller.
Dean calling Charlie ‘the smartest person in the world’
I did sort of expect there would be some residual effect of Dorothy having to share a jar with the Wicked Witch of the East for 75 years. And when the ‘weapons from the book’ came in play - water didn’t work?
Crowley whistling ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’
As Robotmango noted, the Wizard of Oz was published in 1901,in the book she was anywhere from 6 to 12 years old, (this is approximate, her age is not mentioned) so Dorothy in 1935 would have been at least 40. But as she was lost in Oz, I could guess time was different there.
Great for Charlie to save Dean, but sad to see her go so soon. Sam’s mention of ‘home’ at the end was spot on.
