Pumping fans for ideas - Jem the Movie

you remember the old 80s cartoon show Jem and the Holograms? Well, there is a group of guys making a reboot, they aren't consulting the original female creator of the show, they have no women on the creative team, and they are crowdsourcing to ask fans for ideas - hey, ideas for free! I wasn't a Jem fan, but I'm all about how women are represented, and how fans can be used and abused - note recent Supernatural on-spec tee design contest, where all rights of entrants are given to Cw forever, even if they don't win the lovely prize of $750 for shirts/merch that could possibly sell in the thousands.
