Many people are boycotting the purchase of certain orgs which support Autism Speaks (you can find a list of those orgs here) as Autism Speaks has a history of silencing autistic people in the organisation and pairing with organizations that support abusive practices, among other issues. There is a good list ofalternate resources to support at blogher. ThinkGeek is also selling a Neurodiversity shirt with proceeds going to the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network.
