I can't really take the reviews for this movie seriously, it's turned into a laughable bandwagon of hate now.
29% critical review on rotten tomatoes okay from about 300 critics, and 44 at Meteoritic and those are the scores that everyone is focused on.
BUT the actual audience reviews
73% since release, average 3.8/5 at Rotten Tomatoes from 150,000 viewers 75% at IMDB from about 150,000 viewers B grade at Cinemascore (Industry standard polling data) 74% at Metacritic (2000+ viewer reviews)
So what now?, everyone is wetting themselves with anticipation that it will tank or carry on doing well at the box-office in its second week to justify their stance on the movie's quality. The amount of shit I took for defending Iron Man 2 when critics panned it was stupid as is this crap is because I like Bats vs Supes.
What does bother me is how invested SOME Marvel fans who will never see the movie are in this circus, why?. So many negative reviews are from people with names "Spidey99", "MegaironmanMN" or "Deadpoolhatesu". As I said I really don't have a dog in Marvel vs DC race as there is good and crap in both franchises. None the less, bloody hell it's all knives out against anyone who dares to say they like the movie and the hate is from Marvel fans AND DC fans who don't like this particular flavour of Supes vs Bat.
I think that is very sad when for years we had no superheroes and now we are spoilt rotten! I can't bear infighting, years ago we were all friends who were united by our "sad hobby" of liking comic books, now it's all Marvel vs DC trad vs DC modern vs Comicbookcoders vs Indies vs Mainstream. Even at conventions now its turned to shit with rivalry.
