Hiya
Two days more and kids off school, then spouse taking off Wednesday for our 20th wedding anniversary, then his birthday the next day, and why not Friday after that? I had to convince him to take time off, because THE WORLD WOULD STOP TURNING if he took a day off. And to think when he first moved here to US he had a healthy British attitude toward work - What Do You Mean I Don't Have A Month of Vacation and No Bank Holidays????
We all played the Wasabi board game and it was fun! A little more difficult than you would think it would be - basically, you play a sushi chef, and you have recipes and ingredients you need to make a dish, and the one who is first to make all ten dishes wins - or if the board is full, the person with the most points wins. You can use certain cards to influence the board, like Chop an ingredient off the board, or Stack one ingredient ontop of another to make your meal, or Switch an ingredient, or even use the Spicy card to add two ingredients at once. (I won the first game ;D)
So if you enjoy board games that use some strategy, you might enjoy this, and to make things more difficult I suppose you could even move pieces with chopsticks!
Tomorrow I have to send some boxes in the mail, then I will see about getting some creative things done, fic and pic while I have a bit of breathing space, kids are home for three months now. Eeee.

What Is Your Favourite Board Game?
Back when I was a kid it was actually 221B Baker Street! Follows the lines of Clue with canon cases.
(looks like you can still find vintage versions of the game)
