(first off, let me just say its annoying how standards for print and online media have been going ever downward, I see typos and misinformation everywhere, (and in mainstream news, not fanblogs) Cumberpatch instead of Cumberbatch, but Morgan Freeman instead of Martin Freeman for the Hobbit. But colour-blind casting always a win!
And some idiot fansite had Benedict doing motion capture for Smaug, but someone else doing the Voice, PLEASE people, read read read.
this noted about Benedict - "gangly, oddly cheekboned, fantastically surnamed Cumberbatch, whose triumphs on television, stage, and screen are making him the hottest thing since sliced bread on both sides of the Atlantic."
How can one be oddly cheekboned??? Other than Lady GaGa wearing prosthetics.
There is a reboot of Superman on the way, and I can get behind Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent but Russel Crowe as Jor-El? Yet, anything is better than the original idea years back of casting Nicholas Cage as Clark.
Ben's indie film Wrecked has gotten distribution, yay! and maybe one day (along with Bunraku) I can see it!
Did anyone else find Falling Skies dead boring? We switched off after about 10 min.
Um, I like Dr.Who, but not as much as the Tom Baker years, will go to library to see if they have DVDs and indoctrinate the children on Classic Who.

Has a tight (just almost there niggling background details and one hand) pencil -yay!
Second one has the face down, just looking for a good hand, so I can just work on that tomorrow, and then rest of week for colouring, I never know how long that takes for having to search patterns (and never using the same one twice) added to the fact that kids are home during the day - aaaand I just can't stay up until 4am like I used to.
Right now I'm glad to get to mid year with I'd say, six (when the new pics are done) completely finished colored Sherlock pics. Hopefully you can have both a 12 month and 4 month calendar for 2012.
I have some new avenues hopefully working out for research, so maybe I can start writing that original novel this year, and have a bunch of chapters in by Dec. (cross fingers)
But yeah, drawing mode right now, maybe get back to writing in um, two weeks or something.
