Some one wants to send me a japanese manga to review

Because they saw some of my old art, wow, it's been awhile since I delved into managa and anime fandoms. I'm sure I can dive right in, I honestly think one of the frustrations I was getting with Japanese media was that I had to rely so much on english translations, and I want to be able to read/understand without filters - but - I suck at languages and I've never had time or money for lessons. But someday. I should look around and see what's going on in that world again. Any recommendations?

(I actually started getting more into film watching, director Satoshi Kon is now a big fave of mine, and I did try Evangelion, but i'm not warming to it)

Off to the store

After watching Dean sell his soul for his brother, I gotta get son's prescription and while i'm up the road, stop by the craft shops and get findings for jewelry, I've had angel pendants made fever and the Cas and Dean in hell pendant to finish off.

Plus I might make some candy boxes and candy for friends for valentines day, and stuff is on sale now.

otherwise the day is grey and overcast. we made enough corned beef and cabbage last night in the crock pot for six people, but the kids didn't want to eat it, so if spouse doesn't mind, I think we should have it for dinner again, should taste better, and I'm craptastic with leftovers, I'd rather not throw any food out.

Good luck and not so good

I guess I should have known to check Micheal's before JoAnnes (M has a better jewelry selection imho) BUT I have tons of coupons for J's and not a single one for M. So I found the perfect beads to embellish the angels, but I wish it had been a bit cheaper!

I will say I've got tons of wholesale jewelry catalogs, and I've used them, but since I have to be really particular with the colours, I have to see stuff in person, so I end up buying whatever is local. *sigh*

I'm also thinking of using metal clay because I have unique shapes to the jewelry (the angels) and I want to frame them out in metal, again, that's gonna add to the cost, but then you're getting the real deal, silver, gold, copper, but I might also be able to use steel as well. I don't have a kiln, but small pieces you can fire with a small torch.

I usually buy chocolates at valentines, but I picked up some molds onsale and I'm gonna make my own! Now I just have to look at and make some recipes, I'm also gonna have 3 Valentines cards out, Dean, Sam, Cas and hopefully Gackt too. :D

(and still waiting on my backordered parts for magnifying glass necklaces and the big magnifiers, everyone's out!
