Happened to come across pics of the Golden Globes (you can't pay me to watch awards shows) but I'll mention the ones I liked, and you know your own taste, seems that emerald is the color and some egyptian motifs a trend.
(and ahah, I know TWO of the actresses on this list)
Helen Mirren - love the gold champange color
Gabourey Sidibe - thinks she looks great in this sparkling purple (but not allover sequins, that was another trend that is fail, reminds me of majorette uniforms)
Hailee Steinfeld - great texture and age appropriate!
Christina Hendricks - how to pull off red
Catherine Zeta-Jones - stunning, love the texture
Julie Bowen - loved this, before I knew it was Japanese designer
Olivia Wilde - one of my faves, right for the occasion
