My friend was posting about songs that become 'your song' and that could be for yourself or you as part of a couple, this is the spouse's and my song. Why is it so important when you are just getting to know someone that they like some (I say some) of the same kind of music? For some reason, and I can remember exactly when, I asked him if he'd ever heard of the NZ band Crowded House and he said 'yeah!' with a smile, well, you know the rest.

Ah, another classic from the 80s.
Great song.

It's true, hubby and I shared a lot of songs we both liked, and I remember it, along with movies, being a pretty important part of our courting.
Now, I still love a lot of songs from 80s, but hubby, alas, he's just TRAPPED in the 80s. =___=
