But this is the tough scene coming up, kind of make it or break it, you know? It's in my head.

And then bunnies pop up, but I can't get going on a one-off either, because I am boringly, sit down and write from beginning to end on each thing. *sigh*

And the drawing muse up and gone at the moment.

I might watch Sherlock again, cos I've been reading a lot of fic, good fic, but I want to get into My John and Sherlock. Yes.

Or some Cabin Pressure would not go amiss.

Yeah I hear you. I've discovered that writing is WORK. Dang... What I find helps, though, is to have an idea file in Word for every genre and just jot down the plot, the scene, the whatever made me inspired. It keeps for later pretty well, sometimes later is even better. Or, I can go through my ideas and think...what to tackle today? Anything? And looking at the old bunny tracks sparks a brand new one.

Tough scenes are definitely a momentum-stopper for me too. Sometimes I just leave a description of the scene in parentheses and get to it later just so I don't lose my flow. YMMV.

For me writing the scenes isn't the work, it's the editing, to get the words right, and in my fic it's research that's slowing me down, what I need is in Japanese and I have to translate.

Auch. Well, I'm sure it will be well worth it in the end.

Yeah, I'm still into it and excited about it, and rl ... I have a guest in the house I like to be alone when I write!
