Hmm well!

Will make appointments today to see optometrist and dentist, though I should make appt at dentist for spouse too. I have a tooth that's been slowly chipping away (in the back) and it needs a crown, but even with 'blue chip' insurance I have to pay $180 out, well, better than loosing a tooth I suppose.

And I've really needed new eyeglasses for four years.

I also need a new kitchen sink, and a new stove, and brakes fixed on car. Never ends.

This puts off buying Nemuri goods, ne?

Laundry day and grocery day too, so I should peruse some fic before kids get up for school.

Hope you have a great Tuesday!

I feel you! My Medicaid was terminated at the end of last year, and though it didn't cover much, it did cover visits to the clinic and scripts. Said clinic had a dentist's office, and I was getting cavities filled--up until GP died and I found myself without time. Now I have to pay for each visit, though it's on a sliding scale. They told me I needed a root canal on a molar; I told them to pull it. Drove 45 minutes away to the oral surgeon and he was fabulous. Didn't feel a thing!

*sighs* Eye exam...I need one, cause my vision gets worse every six months.

But yeah, it never ends. Have you tried Sears for a new stove?

I will probably hit Menards, or a scratch and dent place, I don't care if it's scratched and dented, long as it works!

Lol. I'm spoiled, I suppose. I picked out the appliances, and GP paid for them. My aunt thinks that she's gonna sell the house and include the fridge...I told her she was nuts, as it happens to belong to me. I picked it out, and GP bought it as a present for me. Most of my kitchen-stuff went that way.

I am feeling the $$ crunch right now - and with taxes coming up, it is always a bit stressful. Yesterday was the last of the spending unil I get some reimbursement cheques from the uni!

I think I have a dental appointment this month ... good reminder to check!!

I broke a molar over the holidays. I thought I had to get a crown, but the dentist managed to salvage the tooth with a new filling and only charged $150. You never know, maybe a filling is all you need as well?

We always have to pay taxes, so big expenses are on hold until after April. I don't think I have had a tax refund in 20 years...

I checked with dentist today, it's about $180, so perhaps I was thinking of the other crown I had, which is in the front so I needed a ceramic filling, I don't care so much about the back, but about 1/3 to 1/2 of the tooth is missing.
