Opportunities Item Type: Visual Artists - Submit your Work
The Saint Paul Almanac, the friendliest tourist guidebook and cultural window into Saint Paul, seeks out artists with work that reflects diversity in media, mind, and heritage. Images will be published in full color for the 2012 issue. The almanac will be commemorated with an exhibition in September of 2011 spanning the AZ gallery and Black Dog Coffee & Wine Bar. Accepted artists will be awarded $10 per image, one free issue of the 2012 Almanac, and artist’s link added to Saint Paul Almanac’s website.
Note: artist will maintain full rights of image published in the Saint Paul Almanac.
Submission deadline is April 25, 2011. Notifications will be sent out April 30, 2011.
To be considered, please send email to patricia@saintpaulalmanac.com. Applicants must include the following information: Indicate if you are either, an active artist in Saint Paul, or an active artist anywhere with image subject matter of Saint Paul;
We are only accepting digital entries, images must be 300 dpi and horizontally-oriented. If accepted, published images will be 4 “ x 2.5”;
Apply by email, and include contact information, media, price, website (optional), and a 50 word or less bio/artist statement;
Please note if you do not wish your contact information to be published.
