The first owner of this house planted a lot of lily of the valley along the east side of the house, so I know its spring when they start to grow, they've never been this late, however.
That is a beautiful picture - your son looks so sweet. My dads lilies of the valley were not quite out last week, but the lilac is in full bloom here and smells heavenly
