Sherlockian Mythbusters!

A team of fans led by Stephen Doyle (author of Sherlock Holmes for Dummies, nominated for an Edgar and an Agatha Award) tries to see if the incident at Thor Bridge could really happen!

(Granada clips ftw)

YES, I would so totally spend my afternoon working out how things might have worked, certain kids would love it ... mwhaahahaha.

We don't have a dog to paint, maybe the cats?

a sure fired way to have grumpy cats... not that it'd be a big change from the way mine usually act

I can just see the disgruntled looks 'green is not our color'

as Mrs. Hudson would say 'it drains us?'

A teacher of mine once had a blue Persian- kitty had accidentally jumped into the indigo vat- Kitty was SUCH an unhappy camper after that. Pouted like nobody's business.

I love the way Hardwicke has Watson say, "My revolver, Holmes." In that way we know that Watson is seriously peevishly annoyed at Holmes, but also knows that Holmes gets caught up in his deducing and experiments and Holmes would still have used his revolver (instead of someone else's) even if Waston knew about it before hand and told Holmes no.

Wonder if Watson made Holmes clean his gun, or if he wouldn't have trusted Holmes to do the job right. (Technically the gun should have been okay after it's immersion, so long as it was thoroughly cleaned and oiled afterwards.)
