How To Knit

I purchased a kit with diagrams, but I find it's much easier to learn with videos, where you can pause, rewind, start over.

Here's my fave site, also has crochet and other crafts.

I have to agree. I had books from my grandmother and tried to teach myself that way, but I didn't really understand what to do until my English teacher (learned in twelfth grade) showed me how to know. Good luck!

That's a pretty good video. I'm actually doing something like that now - making little squares with Fleur de Lis on them in black and tan and then stitching them together to make a quilt.

I did a toy bunny for my grand-nephew and that was really fun to make. I wish I could find more babies to make knitted toys for.

ACtually, I find a lot of older friends in to very cute knitted and crochet toys, specifically if you make them around fandom themes.

Thanks for the linkage! As someone who has no knitters around me in real life, I rely on vids and books to help me! This looks great :)
