My hotel is just a little way from Speedys (I usually buy sandwiches there to avoid paying tons of money for hotel meals), I'll have a peek and see if anything is going on, that is if they are filming exterior shots/second unit stuff tomorrow.

I was talking to Karu about why Freeman annoys me and he is sure because I'm so used to knowing Sherlock and John as such long time bromancers that three episodes from introduction isn't enough to build that relationship that I was hoping for. Second series I bet I'll love it.

I know they have to do a lot of shooting in Cardiff.

I've not seen Martin Freeman in anything but Hitchiker's Guide before this, so I don't associate him with his role in the Office.

I'm trying to think of a role I'd seen Jude Law in that I liked, and I can only come up with the Talented Mr. Ripley, I have to go look up what else Jude has been in that I might have seen.

It was in some ways a typical Spielberg piece of emotional manipulation, but there were clever elements to it. Worth renting at least.

BC is *rocking* that Prince of Wales check. Tweed is...well, you get the picture :-D

Is that a *knitted* tie that Martin is wearing? Makes him look like a 1970s Latin teacher - my 1970s Latin teacher, only he wasn't a tenth as nice looking (sorry, Mr Ashworth)

Those black and white shots are actually colour photos from a shoot BC did with Johnny Lee Miller, and I'd say Johnny looks even better than BC in that suit.

I have to look at the tie again, I know some people don't care for Martin's retro style, but I love it, and has a hand in what John wears on show.
