Power Out

We have heat advisorys where I live, and so many people have their A/C going that the power has been going out. The transformer (which happens to be behind our house) blew so it took them some time to fix it. Power was out from eightish last night until eleven this morning.

At least we had candles and I had my Sherlock Holmes books to read.

I have to admit that sounds rather lovely. Back to basics. I hope it didn't get too hot before the power was restored, though.

I didn't mind the candlelight and reading, but the heat here is opressive, humid, so you sweat sitting still, blech!
