Sherlock Fandom why you so stressed?

Benedict Cumberbatch appears on Jonathan Ross tonight, fandom seems to be freaking out that certain fanarts, blogs, etc, are featured on the show. And naturally some people are upset that the more racy and or absurd things are highlighted, (that's entertainment, they aren't going to show respectful, thoughtful commentary, that's BORING) But, certainly no one thinks that one blog, or one fanart is all of fandom.

And then after this project squeeze in one more Hustlin Holmes and then maybe a New Years Card (for the holidays) and then omg, original project.

So it's okay to draw pictures and write stories about a person/character fandom to fap over in private or with other fans on the internet which of course is completely private and secret, but when outsiders pick up on it....there is cause for concern? Does not compute.
