So dark outside. Well, got up to see the kids' cosplay pics have been very popular, especially on tumblr, though there are a few 'who told them to act gay' comments. Kind of sad when you can't have pics of a brother and sister (or brothers or sisters or friends) holding hands without someone thinking there is something wrong there.

So today, pay bills, post office, maybe clean office? clean office? it really needs it.

Was saying last night that now it's Halloween, time to think (where I live) of getting any Xmas lights hung up outside now, before it gets too cold. We haven't done lights in a few years, so it would be nice.

I found lights with little pumpkins on them, battery operated, on sale last year after Haloween, and put them up this year- I am hoping I can get the pumpkins off and just keep the lights on for the winter holidays. ( considering we have already had snow, this may be the most I do ...)

No decorating here this year, well, maybe a little. We'll be spending November packing and then moving beginning of December. I'm thinking of just having all the Christmas stuff stacked in the living room at the new place, so we can put up the tree and stuff at least.

But next year =) I'm already planning. The back door has a small area with a wrought iron fence and gate. I'm going Halloween all over that thing *L*

Oh that would be great, our dilemma has been we go out with kids, and when we come back, the kids are done trick or treating (except for a few teenagers) so it doesn't seem fair to decorate outside when there is no one to give out candy.

This will be Rhi's last year of Trick or Treating, and I turned in my notice at the Haunt. No more running the costume shop! *YAY* I'll still build stuff for them and I may do a few nights scaring, but I haven't gotten to really enjoy Halloween in a few years. No time to decorate, we seem to wind up rushing doing the pumpkins, can't wait to have time next year and really enjoy my favorite Holiday again.

I covered cosplay last week in the fandom studies lecture - not surprisingly I had cosplayers in my classes who were super happy :)

I am in love with the halloween outfits for your two children - they really look FANTASTIC!!
