It bugs me to see pictures of characters with no faces, I'm not certain if it's a style choice, or the artist doesn't think they can draw faces (or they want to avoid infringement issues when using an actors features on tee shirts) ... also images with no noses, particularly when Martin, Benedict and Mark have such fabulous probosci(s).

That is kind of odd, since many artists seem to like doing faces the best. Even beginning artists with no confidence in the rest of human anatomy seem to spend a lot of time detailing faces...

I see it primarily in fan art, I've even seen people post pics in process, and they have the figure all lovingly drawn with all this texture, and leave the face for last! I have to draw the face and get the expression right along with everything else, I can't imagine just slotting it in last.

Face is always the first place to start, not the last, or leaving faces out!! That bugs me to no end as well. Faces are what fascinates me about people.
