Spouse (a Brit) was at work last Friday, the place was pretty empty as people had taken days off for New Years.

He had suceeded in pulling off some job-related coup, and thinking he was alone in the place he did a fist pump to exclaim ‘I AM ON FIRE!’

In the distance he hears someone say. ‘Is that SHERLOCK?”

*note we are in the US, it's not that common to find people who've watched*

Well, what did spouse say in return? (I hope YES) Good for him. I would love to share any of my fannish passions with a co-worker, even superficially. It would make work so much more interesting and I swear we'd still get stuff done!
