What are you doing?

I took cold meds that made me feel tired and I took a little nap. I am browsing around but not much seems to be going on. Funnily enough, I don't feel like watching any SHERLOCK, from eps 1-5, well except maybe Pink to see how Ben's changed.

I must say that I loved the dingy colours and literal darkness of the first series, felt very London to me, though Moff and Gatiss did say they never intended the show to be that 'dark' and I don't mind going a bit brighter for Scandal, though 221B feels smaller now, and actually, a bit more of a set.

While I am looking forward to Sunday's ep, I'm also sort of tired of waiting and speculating and kind of just want to get on with it I guess everyone's ficcing is on hold until then, unless you've been lucky enough to write an AU!

And I'm itching to do the original stuff, it just takes so much reading, and some of the books I need are hard to find or expensive.

So let me know what you are up to, and what your creative plans are for the year.

Creativity wise for me this year: Finally really finding time to focus on my short stories / book (I'm always so darned busy), and doing more paintings! And of course, I'm always working on my photography and my doll-related artwork.

Regarding Sherlock ~ Looking forward to finally seeing the new ep's, even though I confess I did read some spoilers. Still reserving judgment until I see the ep's for myself. It should be very interesting (although I must confess that I could have done without the intro of the Irene Adler character, I vastly prefer just a Sherlock and John interaction).

Scandal is fantastic, if you think of it as another character named Irene, having nothing to do with canon Irene, Hound is fun and a bit scary.

One of my goals this year is to pull 5 sketches out of my books and make them reality. Even if they only wind up hanging in my own closet, at least I'll have made them, right?

And I want to start drawing again, charcoals. I loved doing charcoals, I miss it.

What books were you looking for? We have TONS =) I mean it, literally. There's probably a dozen boxes in the garage, 4 or 5 here in the new place and I've lost count still back at the other house.
