Because my 13 yr old girl was sobbing while we watched. Afterward I was trying to make her feel better, isn’t it wonderful that someone made something, all the writers and the actors and the crew that made you care what happened and love the characters they made?

Girl just says ‘I don’t want to see Sherlock get hurt’

and yeah, I gotta agree with her there.

but thanks everyone at SHERLOCK for the most fantastic Sherlock Holmes adaptation, I’ve thought and thought and there isn’t a thing about RF I would change. While I speak often of the excellence of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman Kudos to Andrew Scott on his performance.

By the way, Steven and Mark have confirmed there will be a SHERLOCK season 3, depending on everyone's schedules 2013 if we are lucky.

Ohhh, I'm so sorry about your daughter. How upsetting. I guess it's just a testament to the quality of the work that it can be so emotionally involving.

I'm so excited about the third season, though!!! :D

Awwh, she's too sweet. It was indeed a brilliant episode all around: writing, directing and esp. acting.

Annnnd now I will spend the next year trying to figure how the heck he survived without a scratch...

I ended up in tears too and I'm a lot older, so I do sympathise!

I'm so relieved and excited there's going to be a third season, even though I'm a latecomer to Sherlock, catching up with season 1 on DVD in between watching season 2, I was completely hooked!
