I’m just grateful that when I was a kid growing up, I could enjoy bright, energetic, hopeful songs like this, I hope little kids right now have something similar, or they can listen to the Monkees too.

I always felt that this was one of the great hippie anthems - less well-known than some, but the words are amazing " we will make the world shine".
