I didn't take up jewelry as a hobby, (I don't have time or money to spare for hobbies, that would probably be my fanfiction)

I was looking for a way to take my art and put it into a context that would sell it. I figured out (at last) that when people 'consume' art, they look at it. They might be compelled to buy a print, or a poster, but usually they don't. If you put it on something wearable they are more apt to buy it.

Much in the way that artists create music these days, but make less on record sales then they do on merchandise and concert tickets.
