Diamond Jubilee Party

Right now up watching the Thames Parade on BBCAmerica. We have a Londoner in the house (the spouse) and the kids are proud to say 1/2 British. My good friend in Oxford sent me a whole slew of things to have a Jubilee tea party, little flags for the baked goods, badges for the kids, paper serviettes, a tea strainer, crown shaped biscuit (cookie) cutters, so maybe, if I can get over this blech I have a head/chest cold feeling this morning, I’ll make a proper tea with sweets with them and take pics as Sherlock and John, (but most likely just as themselves) if it gets done.

Congratulations Queen Elizabeth II on the 60th year anniversary of your coranation! Huzzah!

I watched it on TV as well and you have to admit, no one puts on a pageant like the British! (But oh dear - that terrible weather)!
