So someone put on tumblrconfessions a reasonable question, why if Dean loves 'Busty Asian Babes' (a magazine/site on their show from seasons 1-present as a joke) do they never cast an Asian women as a shag/loveinterest?

Okay - No. If anything, I've appreciated that Supernatural has been pretty good when it comes to casting people of different ethnicities (and as allies, not just enemies - kudos for the pagan gods along with the angels and demons)
For Dean (one of the two-sometimes-three leads) the love of his life was Cassie, an African American woman, then his dream girlfriend Carmen was a Latina, and he tried to hit on Kali (the goddess, incidentally) who is Asian. (Indian) If anything, I believe they haven't cast another Asian as Dean's love interest because 1) his story hasn't called for another love interest lately and b) because they have the 'Busty Asian Babes' mag as a joke, they haven't cast an Asian woman because some might consider that insulting. Who knows? But not casting an Asian woman is not racist.
Incidentally, happy that the Asian character of Kevin Tran has shown up, though his characterization might be considered as a bit stereotypical, but I think his obsessed-with-grades-honor-student was meant to emphasize his change into a Prophet of the Lord.
